Saudi Arabian oil firm Aramco recently announced that it will be opening its own network of fuel stations here in the Philippines. Officially called Aramco Stations Philippines, it is still unclear where and when the company will open its first pumps.

Since June 30, 2026, Aramco has published three teasers while remaining coy on details. What we can expect is the availability of its ProForce-brand fuel—which, according to the company, increases engine performance and responsiveness.

It should be noted that Aramco has yet to officially publish this new venture on its official website. Teasers and other information were posted on the Aramco Stations Philippines Facebook page, but that has not been verified by the platform. We’ll be sure to post another update when official notices come in.

In any case, these new stations will serve as the next chapter in the company’s history in the Philippines. Back in 1994, Aramco owned 40% of the newly privatized Petron Corporation, but those shares were dispersed in 2008 when it left the country. Aramco then returned in 2025 when it purchased a 25% stake in Unioil Petroleum Philippines, most recently turning over P4 billion for an expansion initiative.

It is also unclear if these new stations will have any effect on Aramco’s current investments. As one of the largest oil companies in the world, it could have a strong and immediate impact on the local fuels market. At the time of writing, the Philippines is still under a state of national energy emergency, with fuel subsidies still regularly given out to PUV operators.
