BMW Philippines is embarking on a new adventure for 2024, as it sets out to complete the Philippine Loop. The catch here? The brand isn’t touring the country on its Motorrad bikes—it’s set to achieve the feat using four-wheelers.
The three main vehicles used for the loop are the 3-Series wagon, X3, and X5. SMC Asia Car Distributors (SMCACDC) has also employed the services of four media outlets for this trip, namely: Isaac Atienza of Go Flat Out, Alex Lim a.k.a. BanaweBoy, Manskee Nascimento of Visor, and Brando Rosales of AutoIndustriya.

The official press release reads: “Beyond testing the limits of the vehicles, BMW’s participation in the Philippine Loop underscores the brand’s commitment to supporting local tourism. The breathtaking scenery encountered along the route will be captured and shared, aiming to inspire Filipinos and international travelers alike to explore the Philippines’ hidden gems.”
“BMW is thrilled to embark on this challenge,” says SMCACDC president Spencer Yu. “This project embodies the core values of the BMW brand—a relentless pursuit of adventure, a dedication to pushing boundaries, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around us. Through this journey, we aim to showcase how BMW vehicles can be the perfect companions for exploring the diverse landscapes and rich culture of the Philippines.”
