In the latter half of 2023, BMW Motorrad overhauled its GS lineup, from the smaller F800 and F900 (formerly F750 and F850, respectively) to the bigger R1300 (previously R1250). There was something missing from the roster, though: the range-topping R1300 GS Adventure.
Now, the German motorcycle manufacturer has released the new R1300 GSA, and it’s quite the looker. While the R1250 GS and GSA models looked similar, with the latter having a much wider body thanks to the bigger fuel tank, the R1300 GS and GSA look very different. The R1300 GSA still has the new signature X-shaped headlight, but it’s a more macho-looking bike with bulky, boxy fairings.

The bike, of course, comes with standard GS Adventure accessories. There are auxiliary lights mounted on the fairings, handguards with turn-signal repeaters, engine crash guards, and added wind deflectors on the standard windscreen. And just like any GSA before it, the R1300 model gets a bigger 30-liter fuel tank.
This bike isn’t all about the looks—it also packs the most powerful BMW boxer engine yet. It gets the 1300’s 1,300cc air- and liquid-cooled two-cylinder boxer engine capable of churning out 145hp at 7,750rpm and 149Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.
The 2024 BMW R1300 GS Adventure also comes with a host of rider-assistance tech. There’s the next-generation Dynamic Suspension Adjustment, active cruise control, forward-collision warning, lane-change warning, and rear-end collision warning. More features such as the ride height adjustment are available as added options.
We reckon it’s only a matter of time before the BMW R1300 GSA lands in the Philippines. What do you think of this one, folks?
