Typhoon Carina caused massive destruction last week: displaced families, damaged property, disrupted schedules, and untimely deaths. As affected areas of the country now try to recover from the effects of the storm, several car brands have released public advisories to extend assistance to customers with flood-damaged vehicles.
We’ve compiled here all the announcements made by car brands so far. This list will be updated when we receive more advisories. In the meantime, here are our tip sheets covering the things you need to check if you had to drive your car or ride your motorcycle through flooded areas last week. Also, if your insurance policy has an Acts of Nature or Acts of God clause, here’s how you can make a claim.
