One of the drastic adjustments carmakers have had to make throughout this COVID-19 pandemic is how they conduct test drives.
These days, dealership visits and even actual car-buying transactions are far different from test drives. When it comes to these things, ensuring a customer’s safety is not as simple as merely maintaining physical distancing.
Now, to make things easier for its customers, Maxus Philippines is rolling out its Maxus Home Test Drive. Through this, the carmaker is offering its clients the option to have test drive units delivered to their homes or preferred locations.
This will allow customers to try out Maxus’ vehicles without having to visit a dealership. And yes, any model from Maxus’ local lineup will be available for test drives. That includes the G10 and G10 Assist, the V80 Comfort and V80 Flex, the T60, and the new G50.
To apply for a home test drive, you can head on over to the Maxus PH website. You will need to access the ‘Book a Test Drive’ tab through the ‘Customer Tools’ option. There, you will be asked to fill up a registration form with your contact details and preferred dealer, location, date, and time slot. Afterwards, your preferred dealer will get in touch with you to finalize the details of your test drive.
As it rolls out its new service, Maxus Philippines is also assuring its customers that all of its units are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized regularly. Also, it says that all of its sales consultants conducting these home test drives have also passed the necessary health certifications and will be wearing personal protective equipment and observing proper safety protocols all throughout.
