Those of you who were planning to buy a brand-new Nissan vehicle prior to the COVID-19 pandemic can finally follow through, as dozens of the Japanese carmaker’s Philippine dealerships have resumed operations under the modified enhanced community quarantine period (MECQ).
Nissan Philippines, though, isn’t taking any chances under the new normal. Temperature checks and physical distancing should be expected when visiting the company’s dealer facilities, and only a limited number of customers will be accommodated at any time. While the company says dealerships will still accept walk-in visitors, it says it will prioritize individuals with appointments and scheduled trips.
Other measures being implemented by the manufacturer to combat COVID-19 include requiring personnel to wear personal protective equipment and the regular disinfection of dealership facilities. Below is a full list of Nissan dealerships that have resumed operations under MECQ:
Are the steps Nissan Philippines is taking enough to guarantee your peace of mind, or will you wait out the pandemic a little bit longer before heading over to a dealership? Let us know in the comments.
