Nissan recently reunited with Filipino artist Quiccs Maiquez for another reimagining of the Japanese brand’s models. This time, the renowned designer transformed Nissan’s 2026 Philippine International Motor Show lineup in the image of his iconic TEQ63 art toys.
“Each vehicle presented a different creative challenge,” said Quiccs. For this collaboration, he had to consider four very different vehicles—a sedan, two crossovers, and a truck—and translate their character into an entirely different medium.

“The X-Trail e-Power has a refined and adventurous character, the Kicks e-Power feels youthful and energetic, the Navara Pro Plug-in Hybrid brings strength and capability, while the Primera EV represents a bold vision of the future. I wanted each piece to reflect those unique personalities while maintaining a cohesive visual language across the collection,” Quiccs continued.

And as you can see in these pictures, it’s a job well done for Quiccs. Each toy carries subtle design elements that echo the vehicle it draws inspiration from, such as the lightbar on the yellow Navara Pro or the vent layout on the blue Kicks.

Describing his latest foray into the automotive scene, Quiccs commented: “It's interesting to see how the same design principles—shape, color, attitude, and storytelling—can exist in both automotive design and collectible art.”
He previously worked with Nissan back in February 2026 for Nissan Festival, where a Nismo Z wearing a livery he designed was placed on display. Alongside it was a life-sized TEQ63 figure based on the Nismo gray-and-red color scheme.

While most of Quiccs’ toys are meant to be collectibles, no mention was made on a future release for his collaborative collection with Nissan. Which of these toys stand out the most to you? Let us know in the comments.
