Toyota Motor Philippines is set to launch the all-new Corolla Altis next week. As a matter of fact, sales associates of a couple of Toyota dealerships have started placing ads about the car--albeit with incomplete information--on popular buy-and-sell websites.
Thanks to our source who is employed by one of TMP's major dealerships, we've managed to get our hands on the final model list as well as the corresponding prices. We say "final" because another website released a price list but got the figures for three variants wrong.
According to our source, five Corolla Altis variants will be offered, with the base variant being a 1.6-liter unit with a six-speed manual transmission, while the top-of-the-line variant has a 2.0-liter mill paired with a seven-speed continuously variable transmission.
The complete model lineup and their respective prices are as follows:
* 2.0-liter V seven-speed CVT - P1,201,000
* 1.6-liter V seven-speed CVT - P999,000
* 1.6-liter G seven-speed CVT - P935,000
* 1.6-liter G six-speed MT - P879,000
* 1.6-liter E six-speed MT - P836,000
In case you're wondering, the engines will be carryovers from the current model, as we have already reported.
Available colors for the new Corolla Altis are Dark Gray Mica Metallic, Dark Brown, Attitude Black, Themalyte, Freedom White, Red Mica Metallic, and White Pearl. For White Pearl, which is only available on the V variants, a P15,000 premium is added.
So, have you placed your reservation yet?
