PH fuel price update: Increase of P0.95/L for diesel, P0.40/L for gas effective April 16

Apologies for being the bearer of bad news, but we’re in for another round of fuel price hikes this coming week.

For the week of April 16 to 22, 2024, diesel prices will go up by P0.95 per liter. Gasoline prices will also increase by P0.40 per liter, as will kerosene prices, which will have a price hike of P0.85 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P9.70/L and P7/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Kerosene prices, meanwhile, will have increased by P2.25/L since the start of the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
