PH fuel price update: Rollbacks for gas, diesel, kerosene effective March 12

The changes are small, but at least prices are going down this week

If you’re scheduled to top up your vehicle, you’re in luck because there’s a slight rollback for all types of fuel this week. Better than nothing, right?

For the week of March 12 to 18, 2024, gasoline prices will decrease by P0.50 per liter, negating last week’s increase. Diesel prices are still trending downward, with an additional rollback of P0.25 per liter, and kerosene will also go down by P0.30 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P5.45/L and P3.80/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Kerosene prices, meanwhile, will have decreased by P0.25/L from the start of the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
