We’ve officially entered Holy Week, and pre-COVID, this usually meant a lot of motorists would be hitting the road to travel home to their respective provinces or go on vacation for the Lenten holidays. The pandemic is far from over, though, and we’ve also gone back under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Greater Manila, so any form of non-essential travel still won’t be allowed this year.
That said, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) will still be rolling out its emergency repair assistance services this week, albeit in fewer areas around the country. This service was usually meant for vacationers in the past years, but now, it will mainly cater to essential workers who will still be out and about this Lenten season.
Toyota’s emergency service includes free labor for emergency repairs and a 10% discount on Toyota Genuine Parts and Chemicals. Certified Toyota service advisors and technicians will also be deployed to assist motorists.
This is part of the Toyota Motorist Assistance Program that seeks to ensure Toyota customers of worry-free trips this Lent. Through the said program, TMP has been offering free 20-point safety inspections since March 15 and will do so until April 10, 2021.
The free emergency repair assistance was originally scheduled for deployment across several regions including Metro Manila, but as mentioned, TMP has now made adjustments in light of ECQ in Greater Manila. You can check out the updated list of covered areas below:
North Luzon

For the rest of us non-essential workers, let’s all just stay at home as much as possible. For all those heading out this Holy Week, remember to observe proper safety protocols. Don’t forget to drive safe and wear a mask, people.
