There’s a reason the Toyota Vios is one of our country’s most popular ride-hailing vehicles: It’s just so damn reliable. And now, the subcompact sedan is about to further cement its place as one of the industry’s top workhorses.
Grab and Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) have just inked a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the aim of making vehicle replacement and regular maintenance easier for ride-hailing drivers. The move comes in a bid to improve modern livelihood among Filipinos.
Under the MOA, Toyota Financial Services Philippines will provide existing Grab drivers with a special loan package with: 1) low down payment and affordable monthly installments; 2) an optional maintenance package that may be incorporated into the loan; and, 3) a P5,000 gas card.
TMP, meanwhile, will provide the following maintenance package options:
The car manufacturer will also offer a P15,000 trade-in incentive, a fuel rebate card, and a free dashcam. Lastly, Grab will provide partners applying for car replacement with commission rebates for their first two weeks of operation.
So, planning to get into the ride-hailing industry? This is just one more reason to consider buying a Toyota.
