Michinobu Sugata interview on Auto Focus TV show

In an interview for the Auto Focus TV show, Toyota Motor Philippines president Michinobu Sugata said that the upcoming all-new Yaris is the last new model to be launched by the carmaker in the Philippines for 2014. The Yaris, which will be officially introduced on March 31st (not April, as we've reported), will be the fourth new model to be released this year by TMP after the Corolla Altis, the face-lifted Innova and the Wigo.

Pressed by Top Gear Philippines editor-in-chief Vernon B. Sarne if a new Fortuner or Hilux model (revised or all-new) isn't coming to the market soon, Sugata said it's definitely not happening within the year.

For the full interview, watch the Auto Focus episode on March 20, 10pm, on Home Shopping Network (Shop TV), Channel 13 on Sky Cable. The interview is moderated by host Ray Butch Gamboa, and features Sarne and Manila Bulletin motoring editor Iñigo Roces as guest panelists.
