Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) jacking up the prices across its lineup isn’t new. At multiple points in time throughout a calendar year, the carmaker usually implements a general price increase affecting several models.
Now, the company has announced that “due to continued severe materials cost increase,” it will be increasing the prices of several models. You ready yet? You might want to sit down, because this is a long list.

Models affected by this general price increase are namely: the Alphard, Avanza, Coaster, Fortuner, GR86, Hiace, Hilux, RAV4, Rush, Veloz, and Yaris Cross. There are a few popular models that were marked safe from this one, but only a few.
TMP, however, has yet to release the specific price adjustments. The changes will take effect on Wednesday, May 1, so expect more details to come out then. Rest assured, we’ll keep you posted, so keep an eye out for more details.
