These are indeed trying times we live in at the moment. Businesses in all industries across the globe are suspending operations and even shutting down due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
In spite of all these, the Volkswagen Group remains optimistic. Two companies under its belt—namely, Audi and Volkswagen—remind the public of the importance of maintaining physical distance from one another, but still staying united in the midst of this crisis.
The two German carmakers have redesigned their logos as a part of their messages. Audi’s four rings have been separated, while Volkswagen’s logo—which has only recently been reworked—now has an even larger gap in the middle.
“Keep distance, stay together,” is Audi’s brief reminder for everyone. Check it out below:
Meanwhile, Volkswagen’s statement reads: “At Volkswagen, we traditionally stand together in all crises and support each other. We are convinced that together we will find new ways and solutions that will enable us to overcome this crisis. Right now, it is particularly important that we follow the rules of conduct and hygiene with a lot of discipline. Stay safe— keep social distance!”

Audi has also set up a dedicated media center, where news about the company and the entire Volkswagen Group relating to the ongoing crisis will be released. Its efforts to contribute to the fight against COVID-19, including its recent donation of about 200,000 face masks to healthcare workers and medical facilities in Germany, will be published through the website.
