ACMobility, together with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the John Hay Management Corporation, has erected eight new EV charging points throughout Camp John Hay.

Spread across three stations, the new charging hub at the Garden Wing features two 22kW AC chargers and a single 60kW DC charger—recognized as the first high-speed charger in Baguio City. Across the camp, the public parking area now has two 22kW chargers, while the Golf Club holds two 7kW chargers.

These new charging points add to the existing station at the Camp John Hay Technohub, which is also expected to receive more AC and DC chargers in the near future.

With more charging options, ACMobility and its partners hope to encourage greener mobility in tourism. “This partnership marks a key milestone in Camp John Hay’s pursuit of sustainable and eco-friendly tourism,” as expressed by Joshua M. Bingcang, president of the BCDA.

“By introducing reliable and accessible EV infrastructure at a location as strategic as Camp John Hay, we are creating not only greener and more convenient travel experience for residents and tourists, but also supporting ACMobility’s mission to provide accessible and reliable EV Charging across the country,” continued Bingcang.

Before this, ACMobility opened a new charging station in Lucena City, Quezon (pictured below), establishing its fourth hub in Southern Luzon.
