The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has announced that 17 EDSA Busway stations have been outfitted with free unlimited Wi-Fi. Connection speeds are said to peak at 60mbps—ironically similar to EDSA’s 60kph speed limit.
Since the EDSA Busway runs around the clock, the DICT has also ensured that the free Wi-Fi will remain operational 24/7. We’ve listed the 17 stations with free Internet down below. Hopefully, the rest of the carousel gets covered in due time.

Along with free Wi-Fi, the EDSA Busway has undergone several improvements, with many more on the way. Recently, GCash was made available as a cashless payment option, while the EDSA Rehabilitation Project has started to overlay the bus lanes with a more durable asphalt. As of January 5, 2026, the bus lanes from Roxas Boulevard to Orense have been completed.
Commuter-friendly footbridges at the EDSA-Kamuning and Ortigas stations are also expected to open within the next few months. And by the end of 2026, new stations in Cubao, Magallanes, and the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange will be added to the carousel.
