After procuring four coasters earlier this year to shuttle travelers between the four terminals of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) has added eight inter-terminal shuttle buses to its fleet, bringing the total to 12.
The inter-terminal shuttle buses are used for free round-the-clock transfers and cater to passengers with connecting flights and mobility impairments.

“NAIA is operating well beyond its capacity, and while major infrastructure upgrades are in progress, expanding our shuttle fleet is an immediate step to improve accessibility and convenience,” said Ramon S. Ang, president of NNIC.
NNIC took over the management, maintenance, and operations of NAIA in September 2024. Among the changes implemented since then are the establishment of a centralized ride-hailing and taxi hub, opening the main arrival curbside in Terminal 1 to all passengers, and clearing out abandoned cars at terminal parking lots. It also raised the overnight parking fees for four-wheeled vehicles to P1,200 every 24 hours, reasoning that the higher rates discourage non-travelers from parking at the airport.
