<>heineken-3 NAME: Richard Opiana (aka Heineken) CAR: 1981 Toyota Corolla DX WHY OLD-SCHOOL? "Kasi, di bihira." QUICK FACTS: It took a long time to get his project completed (3 to 4 years), particularly the interior. Richard buys and sells parts over the Internet. Most parts came from abroad, through ke70.com. The Philippines is the acknowledged dumping site for precious 'junk.' The internet helped put this car together and it would have been much harder without it. Cyberspace is apparently a great place to do business, too.

<>blue-6 NAME: George Villonco CAR: A rare Corolla wagon WHY OLD-SCHOOL? "Nagsimula ako sa high school. First car ko, 1979 Corona. Sunod sunod na yung pa-palitpalit ng old-school na oto." QUICK FACTS: George didn't buy this car. It was a straight swap for his 2000 Honda Civic VTi. "I just changed the mags, steering wheel, and cleaned up the interior," he says. This is a fine example of a well-restored wagon. I dig the blue color, and the Watanabe wheels.

<>colonel-3 NAME: Col. Gilbert Cruz CARS: Modified 'Monster' Volkswagen Beetles WHY OLD-SCHOOL? The dude loves old-school cars, enough to put up a car show in Camp Crame to showcase restored squad cars from the past. Enough said! That's it for now! Keep an eye out because you never know when I will show up for a meet. Thanks for being so friendly!
