Between manual and automatic transmissions, it's the latter that makes you feel as if it's impossible to do it wrong. After all, you just shift into gear and work the pedals and steering wheel, right? Well, not exactly. It might seem easier to drive an automatic, but that doesn't mean there still aren't some pitfalls to avoid.

In this video, we've outlined some of the common errors that drivers are prone to do when handling an automatic. Some of them might seem arbitrary, but they're all listed here for the sake of safety and saving you money in repairs later on. Better to err on the side of caution, right?
