Remember when we wrote about a P1.1 billion mansion with a 15-car garage you can use to show off your prized rides? It was definitely neat, but not exactly something you’d need in your home if you’re trying to keep your car collection subtle.
If this same thought popped up in your head while you were watching that video, Architectural Digest may have found something more to your liking. Thing is, it fits significantly fewer cars and costs substantially more money.
How much dough are we talking about? Try $40.5 million. Converted, that’s a mind-boggling P2.2 billion. Yikes.
San Francisco mansion with Batcave garage
For that ridiculous sum, you are getting quite a lot. The main house has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, and only the finest furnishing available. We call it the ‘main’ house, because there’s actually a separate cottage included with its own bedroom and bathroom as well as a sauna and massage area.
Other amenities include a backyard with a spectacular view of San Francisco, a four-sided infinity pool, an outdoor theater, a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, and an art gallery.
The star of the property, though, has to be its ‘Batcave’ garage. To access this with a vehicle,, you need to drive through a dark tunnel illuminated by moody lighting. It also comes equipped with a rotating platform you can use to turn your cars around without painstakingly maneuvering them inside the tight space.
Frankly, we really dig the vibe this space is giving out. Now if only we had P2.2 billion—and the extra money to fill that garage up, of course.
