It’s been a good year so far for 4x4 enthusiasts. In 2024 alone, we saw the arrival of various big nameplates, but perhaps none as big as the all-new Ford Bronco.
Of course, the first order of business for us was to try it out and see what it’s actually like. After we got that out of the way, next up was to pit it against a strong competitor, and what else better to go up against it than the newly launched Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

You’re probably expecting a hardcore off-road comparo here, and you’re right. We did bring these two vehicles to Sacobia River in Pampanga to test them out. But off-road performance isn’t everything, so we also made sure to compare other aspects, such as their interiors and extra amenities.
That said, we still did focus on performance, and in this Big Test episode, we were able to do something different with the acceleration test: We had a drag race. A best of three at that.
But I won’t spoil you any further, nor will I tell you which 4x4 came on top. What I can tell you is that this episode was all sorts of fun.
