Ford has teamed up with N+ bikes to create two new e-bikes that wear big names from the automotive world. Yep, these pedal bikes are technically the two latest iterations of the Bronco and the Mustang. Wonder if this will upset the purists as much as the Mustang Mach-E did?
As you might imagine, the Mustang is set up as a road bike with the Bronco geared toward off-roading.

The Mustang eBike features a 750W (about one entire horsepower) hub-mounted motor with 85Nm of torque for a top speed of 45kph, while the 720Wh battery provides 97km of range. There are four-piston Tektro hydraulic brakes, air-sprung front and rear shocks, and proper Pirelli tires, too.

Ford reckons it has “handling that mimics the iconic sports car,” so maybe don’t take it down to that cars and coffee meet? Prices start at $4,000, but you’ll need to pay an extra $390 if you want a color that isn’t gray.

The Bronco eBike also gets a 750W motor, 97km of range, and a 45kph top speed, but the plan is for you to be able to hit that top speed on any terrain. As a result, you get Pirelli Scorpion tires, and heavy-duty dual suspension with a motocross-style rear linkage and trailing arm, while the seat also takes inspiration from motocross bikes. There are four different power assist modes, too—Eco, Normal, Sport, and Baja. Both bikes weigh just over 30kg.
Prices for the Bronco start at $4,500 with the standard paint that shade of blue Ford now refers to as ‘Area 51.’ Perhaps this is what Ford is planning on doing with the Fiesta nameplate, too?
