The all-new GAC GN6 is one of the three MPVs launched by the Chinese brand in its end-of-July blitz, and it stands out as the entry-level option. Much like its predecessor, it enters the market as a budget-friendly and feature-complete option in the people-mover segment.
While GAC foregoes electrification for the GN6, it does make up for it with very competitive pricing. On top of this, the model is being offered with a special introductory discount until the end of August. Sound interesting? Read on to learn everything you need to know about the all-new 2027 GAC GN6.
Variants and prices of the GAC GN6 2027

GAC offers the all-new GN6 with a single ‘GX’ trim. As an ICE vehicle, it is covered by GAC’s warranty policy of up to five years or 150,000km. New owners are also eligible for two years of free roadside assistance.
This single variant of the GN6 stickers for P1,298,000. However, until the end of August, GAC is offering it with a special introductory discount of P100,000. This effectively slashes the price to P1,198,000 for the duration of the offer.

Exterior of the GAC GN6 2027

This new generation of the GAC GN6 features a revised design that draws inspiration from its more upscale MPV siblings, namely, the E8 and the GN8. It keeps the commanding front grille—a signature design element of GAC at this point—but the headlights have been cleaned up a bit to provide a more dignified look. The wheels have also been upgraded to 17-inch alloys.
Other than that, it still retains the typical MPV shape and form factor. It measures 4,792mm long, 1,837mm wide, and 1,750mm tall—around the average size of its segment competitors. Two exterior colors are on offer: Pearl White and Classic Black. Simple, but most MPV buyers choose to stick with neutral shades, anyway.
Interior of the GAC GN6 2027

The interior of the GN6 is wrapped in synthetic leather with a black-and-brown color scheme. The captain seats in the second row have been retained, with an open middle aisle to facilitate ease of movement to and from the third row.
Speaking of the third row, it can also fold flat into the trunk floor to provide 1,100 liters of trunk space—or by GAC’s measurements, fourteen 20-inch suitcases. Cargo space with the third row up is still a respectable 324 liters when maximizing the GN6’s seven-seat passenger capacity.
Powertrain specs of the GAC GN6 2027

The all-new GAC GN6 remains an ICE-only model. Under the hood, this MPV is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that churns out 174hp and 270Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission.
GAC quotes two fuel efficiency ratings depending on the testing methodology used. Under WLTC standards, the GN6 is rated for 13.9km/L. Fuel efficiency under NEDC standards is slightly better at 15.4km/L.
Extra features of the GAC GN6 2027

The 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected to a six-speaker setup. The driver’s seat also comes with six-way power adjustment for convenience.
The GN6’s ADAS suite is also well-appointed with a plethora of useful features: adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, integrated cruise assist, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, and high beam assist.
What say you on the GAC GN6? Does its feature package and price tag make up for the lack of electrification? Sound off in the comments.
