Top Gear Philippines recently got its hands on the all-new Honda Civic RS e:HEV—you can check out the full review by clicking these blue words. But if you’re not one to read or you want a more visual experience, then you’re in the right place.
Our assistant managing editor Leandre Grecia was the one who took the keys to Honda’s new hybrid sedan. Not to spoil too much details, but he liked it. A lot. The question now is, of course, why exactly?

For starters, the Civic RS e:HEV comes with Honda’s new electrified powertrain. You’re looking at a 2.0-liter gasoline engine churning out 139hp and 182Nm of torque paired with an electric motor that pushes out 181hp and 315Nm. It’s peppy and efficient, easily doing around 20km/L with no real effort whatsoever.

It also comes with Honda’s latest technologies, including the latest Honda Sensing suite of safety features. There’s adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-departure warning and lane-keep assist, among others. Amenities come aplenty as well with a wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto-capable head unit that’s mated to a Bose sound speaker setup.
Anyway, we’ll leave you to it. You can watch the full review below. The comments sections are open, too, if you have anything you want to say about the new Honda Civic RS e:HEV.
