In most cases, taking part in any activity that has to do with eating paint will land you in one of two places: a) in the emergency room, or b) riding a wagon to the looney bin. If you play your cards right, you can end up visiting both in that exact same order.

Thankfully, these delicious-looking Porsche-branded ice creams are only based on car paint—meaning the only side effect you can expect is a satisfied craving and not a life-threatening case of lead poisoning.

Released last week in collaboration with Chicago-based Pretty Cool Ice Cream, these limited-edition treats were rolled out in celebration of National Ice Cream Day. Five flavors inspired by iconic Porsche colorways are available: Mint Green, Strawberry Red, Macadamia Metallic, Frozen Berry Metallic, and Lime Gold Metallic.

And don’t worry, you won’t find any metals in the ingredient list—just your standard-fare food items: cream cheese, mint and cookies, roasted nuts, black raspberry, etcetera.

“This has been a fun project and one we hope will evoke a smile, just like the customizable colors available on all of our cars,” Porsche Cars North America vice president for marketing Ayesha Coker said in a statement.

“We genuinely thought there weren’t many things cooler than one of our special colors for your dream Porsche, but this ice cream might just have that beat.”

To be honest, it’s kind of tempting to just let these things sit inside their packaging—the wrappers just look so clean, and the box they come in is absolutely on-point. Is anyone else suddenly craving ice cream?
