Believe it or not, this car started life as a bog-standard 1995 BMW 325. Owner Carl Balzer saved this once-dignified German sedan from the scrapyard, stripped it down to its most basic elements and then went to town creating a bonkers build.
These days it's a street legal 1,200bhp E36 go-kart packing a massively turbocharged LS engine under its er, lack of bonnet. With all that power and a differential from an old M5, this thing is quite the drift machine.
