When we finally kicked off the new season of the Top Gear PH Podcast, there was something important we talked about in Episode 1: We were scheduled to go to the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS). In case you haven’t seen our content on it yet, Leandre and Charles made it, even with some heavy last-minute visa-related stressors.
For this episode, we have our guys talk us through (or at least try) what went down in Tokyo as well as the other places they went to that weekend. As Leandre and Charles put it, it was overwhelming.

In a nutshell, the two went to multiple car meets, TAS itself, the Karrera Showroom’s pop-up event at the Daikanyama Garage, and even more car meets. They also shared how the parking lot of TAS was somehow like a car show on its own.
If we’re being honest, the two were kind of all over the place during this podcast episode, but that’s understandable. Even with a proper outline and all the photos for reference, it still isn’t easy trying to summarize a one-for-the-books kind of trip in one sitting.
