Early this year, Nissan Philippines invited us for a long drive up Sagada. The trip was in celebration of the Navara's successful first year in our market, with the company opting to mark the milestone by taking the vehicle through the twists and turns of Kennon Road and Halsema Highway.

In between falling asleep in its comfortable cabin and driving along the highest stretch of road in the country's highway system, we developed a newfound appreciation for Nissan's burly pickup. If you can think of a better way to enjoy a vehicle than with a 12-hour drive and beautiful scenery all throughout, please let us know.

In the meantime, watch the video above to see how the Navara fared on this road trip. We guarantee it will have you yearning for cold Sagada weather.
