Motostrada wasn’t content on launching just the all-new 500SR Voom, 150SC, and 675SR-R in one go. It had to add another model to that trio, and boy, is it a big one: it’s the all-new CFMoto 800MT-X. Frankly, the big reveal caught us off guard.

The 800MT-X is the very bike that just appeared in teasers a couple of weeks ago, and now it’s already in the Philippines. This is the more off-road-oriented version of the 800MT, built to be used 60% on-road and 40% off of it.

It does look like a proper off-roader, with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, trail-ready tires, 240mm of ground clearance, and high exhaust and fender placements. It also looks a lot like its smaller 450MT sibling with its new Zephyr Blue colorway with white and pink accents all around. It’s undoubtedly bigger, though, especially with the large windshield and headlights up front.

Also adding to this large build is the humungous seven-inch vertical TFT display that has all the screen real estate you’ll ever ask for in a bike. It has Bluetooth connectivity as well as CFMoto’s TBox which allows for over-the-air updates through the CFMoto Ride app.

Also making this bike look even bigger is the 22.5-liter fuel tank that’s placed underneath the bike, making it more bottom-heavy and lowering the center of gravity—that’s something we’ve also seen in KTM’s Adventure models. Its air filter is also placed under the seat to make servicing easier when riding the trails.

The 800MT-X also gets fully adjustable front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, both with 230mm of travel. The bike also comes with three ride modes: standard, rain, and off-road. It also has switchable ABS (with cornering ABS) and traction control.

Powering it is a 799cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that churns out 94hp at 8,500rpm and 88Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. It gets an assist/slipper clutch with a bi-directional quick-shifter. Other standard bits include a steering damper and cruise control.

The all-new CFMoto 800MT-X is set to arrive in dealerships soon with a price tag of P676,900. What say you about this one, readers?
