Ford is entering the new year with a bang. For fans of the company’s SUVs, you’ll like this bit of news. Years after it made its global premiere, the Ford Bronco has finally been confirmed for the Philippine market.
To say it’s been years in the making is an understatement. It could be said that it’s one of the models that has been highly requested to be sold in the country.

The arrival of the Bronco was seemingly teased by one of Ford’s dealer groups, AutoHub. Not long after that, Ford Philippines made an official statement confirming that the SUV will, indeed, be sold here.

Ford Philippines is confirming the launch of the Ford Bronco this year. It will soon be open for reservation exclusively via the Ford online reservation portal at www.ford.com.ph, and will be supported by all Ford dealers nationwide. More information including product specifications and reservation timings will be shared closer to launch date.
Yes, you saw that right. Reservations will be opened up soon in the country. Exciting news, indeed.
As for the specs, Ford Philippines is still tight-lipped about it. The Bronco is available in two body styles, namely as a short wheelbase three-door and a long wheelbase five-door. There’s two engine options on hand starting with a 2.3-liter turbo with 300hp, followed by a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 that punches out 330hp.
Pricing? That’s still up in the air. We’ll know more once the SUV is officially launched, and we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any updates.
