Are you a Porsche fanatic who wants to retain the classic looks, but keep the modern performance? Well, it’s good news! Budapest-based KAMManufaktur—yet another challenger to the likes of Singer and Theon Design—has released its most hardcore, bare-knuckle product yet with the KAMManufaktur 912c full-carbon edition.

When we say full-carbon, we really do mean it. Every single body panel has been replaced by in-house-built carbon-fiber alternatives, and the result is...startling. The 912c tips the scales at just 699kg in its full road-legal trim, which represents more than 300kg of weight loss over the original car. KAMM will also sell you a 750kg semi-carbon version.

Let’s talk technicalities, and straight off the bat, we’ve got to mention the air-cooled four-cylinder engine that produces around 168hp and 2499Nm of torque. It may not sound like much, but will you really need anything more spirited given the sub-700kg weight and near 50/50 distribution? No, we thought not.

KAMM founder Miklos Kazmer says: “I am a perfectionist and continuously seek innovative new ways to improve the 912c. Our new carbon-fiber body is a great example of that, with perfect fit, incredible strength, and further weight saving.

“In addition, the 2024 912c will offer a range of enhancements to further enhance driving pleasure and give an even more rewarding ownership experience. We look forward to delivering the first client cars early into 2024 and will then show the world our new development car for evaluation later in the year.”

He certainly talks a good game, and if you’re finding yourself edging toward your seat in interest as a result, a 2024 full-carbon KAMM 912c is priced at an estimated €400,000 (roughly P24.4 million). Alternatively, customers can donate their own 912 examples to bring the price down to around €360,000 (approximately P21.9 million). This is also the same price as a semi-carbon 750kg version, which drops to €320,000 (around P19.5 million) with a donor car included.
