After more than a month since the facelifted Kia Seltos’ launch here in our market, Kia Philippines has officially announced that the crossover range is finally complete with the arrival of the new Seltos SX variant.
This new top-spec SX trim is the only one in the lineup with a different engine, which is a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. This powertrain puts out 138hp and 242Nm of torque and is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. For comparison, the 1.5-liter non-turbo engine only generates 113hp and 144Nm of torque.

In terms of amenities, there’s plenty in the new top-dog Seltos. There’s a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster paired with an equally wide 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The variant also comes standard with dual-zone climate control, seat cooling in the front row, a Sound Mood Lamp, and a panoramic sunroof to boot. The safety and driver-assist department’s covered as well, as this new Seltos is equipped with smart cruise control with stop-and-go function, lane-keep and lane-follow assist, forward-collision avoidance assist, and high-beam assist.
The new Kia Seltos SX is priced at P1,688,000 and comes with a five-year or 160,000km warranty and 24/7 roadside assistance. You can check the prices below.
