Lexus Philippines has officially confirmed that the all-new Lexus ES is arriving this August. The luxury brand highlighted that the executive sedan will be a showcase of “elegant design, electrified performance, and intuitive technology.”
It was also confirmed that the all-new ES will be available in both BEV and HEV variants. We previously reported on the fully electric version’s DOE homologation papers, as well as the brand’s own teasers highlighting the BEV. But it appears that Lexus will be taking a page from its sister brand Toyota by offering a “multi-pathway approach” to electrification.
The new Lexus ES also updates the executive sedan’s look with the Japanese automaker’s current design language, reinterpreting the hourglass grille into an aggressive fighter-jet-inspired nose complemented by large vents on each side. It’s worth noting, too, that the ES has grown in size—both longer and wider—with Lexus promising that this will make for a more spacious and comfortable interior.

Lexus Philippines has confirmed a variety of paint finishes for the new ES: Sonic Copper, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, White Nova Glass Flake, Graphite Black Glass Flake, and Sou. That last color, a powder blue shade, is special as it made its debut on the all-new ES last year. It has since appeared on other Lexus models like the special-edition ‘Shining Essence’ UX300h.
More details will be revealed in the coming weeks ahead of the August launch—it won’t be long now before we get full details, including pricing.
