Chinese startup Rox debuted its flagship 01 range-extended luxury SUV back in 2024, then set up shop in its new Greenhills showroom earlier this year. Now, they’re taking the next step with the face-lifted model dubbed the Adamas here at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show.

The Rox Adamas is a subtle revision, with the most notable visual change being the reduction of black cladding, especially on the front grille. The characteristic boxy design is here to stay, as well as the T-shaped head and taillights.

Nappa leather covers almost every surface you can see or touch, available in a variety of colors. The Adamas can be had with a conventional 2-3-2 seating layout that includes a bench seat in the middle, or a 2-2-2 setupthat trades the bench for premium captain seats.

The said captain seats are loaded with features such as extend recline for a bed function, heating and ventilation, and even a ‘shiatsu-like massage’ function.

The Adamas deviates from most off-road luxury SUVs by employing a unibody construction that favors comfort. The 140mm long-travel air suspension smooths out the roads the Adamas was meant to traverse. The claimed 5.98-meter turning radius also implies surprisingly nimble maneuvering.

Of course there’s plenty of power on tap: 469hp and 740Nm of torque, with a claimed 0-100 of 5.5sec. The 56kWh battery pack provides an impressive combined WLTC range of 1,226km according to Rox. Don’t want to waste a single drop of fuel? Running the Adamas purely on electricity gives you around 235km of WLTC range.

The Rox Adamas is priced at P4.988 million—squarely in the territory of more familiar nameplates like the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and the Ford Bronco. Are the extra tech and creature comforts enough for you to consider it over the household names? Stay tuned as we bring you more coverage from MIAS 2026.
