A few months ago, it was reported that the Southeast Asian markets can expect an updated version of the Toyota Corolla Cross sometime in 2024. Now, it seems that its regional debut is sooner than we think.
Autolifethailand.tv says that facelifted model will arrive in Thailand by February 2024. The publication also claims that most of the changes seen in overseas models will also be applied for the ASEAN market.

In terms of styling, it’s likely that our market will get the Australian market look for the facelift. That includes a new set of headlights and tail lights, along with a few tweaks to the bumpers. New wheel design options are also a strong possibility.
The report also stated possible new interior features for the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross for Southeast Asia. The most significant of these are the fully digital instrument cluster for hybrid models and the electronic parking brake replacing the foot-operated parking brake.
In terms of tech, there is a good chance that the regional model could get a newer version of the JBL sound system that’s available with nine speakers over in other countries. The touchscreen infotainment system might also get a size increase to around 10.5 inches, but that will likely vary per country, depending on product planners. Other possible new features include the addition of a stop and go function for the adaptive cruise control, wireless charging, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It’s also said that there will be improvements made to the hybrid powertrain system. There is no mention of said upgrades just yet, but it’s likely more for efficiency than power. As for the all-wheel drive version, that seems unlikely for the ASEAN market.
