In case you didn’t know, 2026 marks the 60th year of the Toyota Corolla. And in celebration of that, we’ve seen more than a few special-edition builds and limited releases. The latest addition to the commemorative roster? The appropriately titled Toyota Corolla 60th Anniversary Special Edition.
While it bears a rather simple title, this particular Corolla is also satisfyingly simple. In fact, it may be our favorite out of the bunch. From what we’ve seen, this is the first commemorative build that does not use the C-shape Corolla emblem up front, and instead wears the usual Toyota logo.

It gives a more timeless look, and isn’t that what the Corolla is all about? The 60th anniversary badging is also much more low-key, with subtle placements by the side skirts. Inside, similar branding is found on the doorsills and the floormats. It’s not a loud celebration, but a more reserved display of 60 years of heritage.

What truly sets this special-edition Corolla apart from the rest are its unique 18-inch machined black alloy wheels and distinct Supersonic Red paint job. Both these features look like they’re suited for the hotter GR Corolla, but they make a welcome appearance on an everyday sedan model.
Sadly, this isn’t a sedan we’ll see in the Philippines. This is strictly for the United States, and only 2,500 units will be produced. With a few more months left in the year, hopefully, we’ll get to see at least one celebratory Corolla reach our shores.
