Okay, so we’re all human here. While we really try to bring you guys the latest news across the industry in the best way we know how, sometimes, we still miss a few things here and there.
Case in point: Our last story on the Toyota Fortuner. We said that Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) introduced significant updates to its midsize SUV without the price increase. As it turns out, we stand corrected: There were price adjustments with some variants.

The LTD 4x4 gets a slight P3,000 bump, while the two G variants get significant P28,000 increases. Also, we’ve been told that the 2.4- and 2.8-liter turbodiesel options will be retained, but the GR-S will be getting the uprated powertrain that puts out 221hp and 550Nm. As for interior amenities, all except the base G variants will be getting a new nine-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
