If there’s one launch from Toyota in recent memory that really raised eyebrows, it’s the all-new Hilux. Not because of its fully electric powertrain, but because of its questionable design.
Whether we like it or not doesn’t matter anymore, though, because the new-look pickup has just been launched at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, alongside the all-new Land Cruiser FJ and the Land Cruiser Hybrid.

The all-new Hilux BEV lands in our market packing a 59.2kWh lithium ion battery that powers the dual electric motors. The front churns out 200Nm, the rear, 269Nm. In total, the system is capable of 193hp. Maximum electric range is listed at 315km. The truck also has 287mm of ground clearance and comes with creature comforts like a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and a 360-degree-view monitor.

Only one variant of the Hilux BEV is available and it can only be had in Platinum White Pearl Mica, but the non-electric versions will still be sold alongside this one, with the new look and updated tech. The ICE version will still have seven variants in total, and it’ll come exclusively with Toyota’s tried-and-tested 2.8-liter turbodiesel.

The lone engine puts out 201hp between 3,000 to 3,400rpm, and torque output varies between 420Nm at 1,400-3,4000rpm and 500Nm at 1,600-2,800rpm. Gearbox options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.
Amenities in the diesel-powered Hilux vary. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity comes as standard via either the eight-inch touchscreen or the 12.3-inch infotainment system, and this is paired with either a seven-inch or 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, respectively. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is available only to the V and Conquest variants.

For the SRPs, the Hilux ICE ranges from P1.098 to P2.631 million, while the Hilux BEV sells for P2.99 million. You can check out the full price list below.
