If you’ve been eyeing a Toyota Supra but want the thrill of manually shifting your gears, that or you need more leg workouts, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has quietly released the manual version of its iconic sports car.
It’s a quiet reveal because there’s no launch, lunch, press release, or even a message that the much-awaited (for some) manual Supra is here. And no effort is needed because other than having a stick shift, there is nothing new about the new Supra.

You can actually stop reading beyond this sentence because the colors are the same, the 382hp and 500Nm 3.0-liter engine is the same, the infotainment system is the same, the 19-inch forged aluminum wheels are the same—you get the point.
Even the 2025 Toyota Supra manual prices are the same as the automatic version:
Toyota GR Supra 3.0L MT Prominence Red – P5,552,000
Toyota GR Supra 3.0L MT White Metallic – P5,612,000
Toyota GR Supra 3.0L MT Matte Avalanche White Metallic – P5,652,000

Actually the only thing different is the order in which the information appears on TMP’s official website. For example in the manual Supra web page the 12-speaker JBL HiFi audio system is the last entry, while in the automatic Supra web page this info is buried in the ‘Function’ submenu, making it more difficult for me to fact-check my claims. Why are you making our jobs harder, TMP? Just kidding, we don’t mind. Can we borrow it again?

It’s actually shaping up to be an exciting year for Toyota’s GR brand. It just teased a new GR Yaris, and the first leg of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup is happening this month. Just like the weather, Toyota is heating up.
