It’s no secret that the Toyota Urban Cruiser is on its way to our market. Toyota Motor Philippines itself confirmed that the new EV will be launching here, along with a few other important nameplates like the next-gen RAV4.
What’s still a secret, however, is when the Urban Cruiser will be launched and, more important, how much it’ll cost. Well, we’ve just gotten word from a source that the new Toyota could be priced at P2.135 million, and only one variant will be available.

As with before, this type of information should be taken with not a grain but with a heavy amount of salt. Nothing is confirmed yet as of this writing—we’ll just revisit this story once official details are out. That said, we also have more info about the Urban Cruiser that we’d also like to share with you guys.

For starters, there’ll be five color options available, namely: Arctic White, Celestial Blue, Grandeur Gray, Land Breeze Green, and Splendid Silver. As far as the interior goes, though, it’ll only be available in a two-tone black and brown finish.
We’re told local units will get a 171hp, 193Nm electric motor with a 61kWh battery. Estimated range is said to be around 475km. The Urban Cruiser will also get amenities like a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The head unit will also paired with a nine-speaker setup. Seven airbags will come as standard, as well as Toyota Safety Sense features. Our source has also mentioned that each purchase of the Urban Cruiser should come with a free wall box charger with free installation.
Again, nothing is official yet from this article, so don’t quote us on these. Rest assured, once Toyota gives us word on this, we’ll keep you all posted.
