Toyota is set to add five new EVs to its lineup in Europe before 2026, with the fax machine that is the bZ4X hanging on (and likely being refreshed at some point) to make it a very rhythmic six for 26. And the boxy little thing you see above will be the smallest and cheapest of the lot.
Well, kind of. Currently known as the Urban SUV Concept, expect this thing to get some kind of bZ added to its name when the proper production version is shown in the first half of 2024. Anyone else spotted the bZ shape in the rear light signature?

We don’t know too many specific details about this compact crossover just yet, but Toyota has said it will be offered in both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive forms. Looks pretty cool too, doesn’t it? We’re big fans of the small but chunky vibe.
The as-yet-unnamed EV will also follow one of its main competitors—the Volvo EX30—in offering two different battery options to ensure there’s an ‘accessible’ entry-level variant and a more expensive, longer-range version. What that range might be is still anyone’s guess, though.
