If the Nissan Navara’s new look and upgrades aren’t enough to get you to consider the pickup, maybe this news will: The Japanese carmaker is throwing in a free five-year warranty with every purchase of the truck.
This essentially adds an extra two years or 50,000km on top of the usual three-year or 100,000km warranty, bringing it up to a five-year or 150,000km (whichever comes first) warranty.
Mechanical and electrical parts, accessories, and body and paint are all covered by the first three years or 100,000km. The additional two years or 50,000km, though, will only cover mechanical and electrical parts. Keep in mind that this package will not cover units used for commercial purposes and units modified using non-genuine parts from Nissan. Owners must also stick to their vehicle’s preventive maintenance schedule.
During the launch, Nissan Philippines (NPI) president Atsushi Najima called the warranty package the “best in the industry.” This is also the only Nissan offering at the moment being offered with a five-year warranty.
