Carmakers have started reopening dealerships left and right over the weekend. Ford Philippines, for example, has resumed operations in several of its facilities both in and out of the metro.

Along with this resumption of operations, Ford’s dealers are implementing new safety guidelines that will be observed inside its premises. Temperature checks will be done and physical distancing will be enforced inside showrooms, while all Ford personnel will be required to wear protective face masks and gloves.

Likewise, Ford’s showrooms will be reorganized to ensure people inside can keep their distance from one another. In addition to this, Ford’s dealerships will be disinfected thrice a day. There will also be additional services available to Ford customers, such as vehicle sanitation and remote sales support.

“As we open the majority of our Ford dealer network, we would like to assure our customers and dealer teams that their health and safety remain our top priority with safety and sanitary measures in place in our Ford showrooms,” said Ford Philippines managing director PK Umashankar.
