The past year was quite big not just for Toyota—its luxury brand Lexus had quite the outing in 2023, too.
Lexus global sales last year hit a record-high 824,258 units sold, attributed mainly to strnog demand in markets such as North America and Japan. 2023’s figures were good for a 31.8% year-on-year increase, as Lexus sales dipped to just 625,365 in 2022. Of the total, 47% were comprised of electrified vehicle sales, and the growth was mainly because of the RX and the RZ.
