Another car manufacturer is now taking steps to enter the new normal.
Mazda Philippines has announced that it is opening its showrooms and service centers in Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, General Santos City, and Negros—all areas currently under general community quarantine (GCQ).
Of course, the company will be complying with GCQ guidelines in its operations. This includes implementing measures such as checking visitors’ body temperatures before entry, requiring face masks and social distancing within its facilities, and the use of disinfectants. Mazda Philippines is also requiring customers to schedule appointments in advance. Look:
Expect Mazda Philippines to implement the same measures and restrictions in its Manila dealerships when the capital shifts into GCQ hopefully in the coming weeks.
Other local auto industry players to announce the resumption of operations in GCQ areas include Goodyear Philippines, Honda Cars Philippines, Volkswagen Philippines, and Ford Philippines. Are you looking forward to visiting a car dealership near you once the health situation normalizes?
