As expected, fuel prices are shooting up this week due to the ongoing war in the Middle East.
There are no standard price adjustments for gasoline, kerosene, or diesel—instead, each oil company has notified the Department of Energy (DOE) of its price hikes, and how these will be implemented in tranches over the course of several days beginning Tuesday, March 10.
For gasoline, Chevron will be implementing the lowest price hike at P7 per liter, with P1/L adjustments over seven days. Seaoil will have the highest increase, ranging from P11 to P13 per liter and implemented in equal tranches of P5.50-P6.50/L over two days.

For diesel, Chevron will still have the lowest increase at P17.50 per liter, increasing by P2.50/L again over the next seven days. The steepest price hike will come from Shell at P24.25 per liter, with a P14.55/L increase on the first day, followed by adjustments of P7.30/L and P2.40/L on the second and third days, respectively.
Finally, kerosene will have a price increase ranging from P32 per liter (Petron) to P38.50 per liter (Chevron). As with gasoline and diesel, Chevron is staggering the increase over seven days, so its pricing will be initially lower compared with other oil companies.
Depending on where you top up, expect to pay the following prices this week once the price hikes are fully implemented:
