PH fuel price update: P1.60/L increase for diesel, P0.80 for gasoline effective Feb. 3

This coming week, fuel prices are set to increase yet again. February 3, 2026, will mark the fifth straight week of price hikes, with the most recent rollback occurring on January 7.

For the period of February 3 to February 9, 2026, the price of diesel will go up by a big P1.60 per liter, while gasoline prices will increase by P0.80 per liter. Finally, kerosene will also have a price increase of P1.10 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P2.40/L and P5.40/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2026. Meanwhile, kerosene will have had an overall increase of P3.80/L for the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
