PH fuel price update: P1.0/L increase for diesel, P0.6/L for gas effective Feb. 10

Another round of fuel price increases is set to take effect this week. After six straight weeks of hikes, fully electric and hybrid vehicles are sounding really good right now.

For the period of February 10 to February 16, 2026, the price of diesel will go up by P1.00 per liter, while gasoline prices will increase by P0.60 per liter. Finally, kerosene will also have a price increase of P0.60 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P3.00/L and P6.40/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2026. Meanwhile, kerosene will have had an overall increase of P4.40/L for the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
