You’ve seen the memes wherein a Ferrari Purosangue is put beside a Toyota Crown Sport. These crossovers’ long and low hoods, coupe-like profiles, and truncated rear ends are just some of the things that the Internet has noticed being similar between the two.
But Japanese aftermarket company Aero Over decided to make that meme into reality...by creating a bodykit for the Crown Sport to make it look even more like the Italian crossover. The result? Let’s just say the resemblance is uncanny. The only thing missing here are the coach doors from the Ferrari.

The Crown Sport by Aero Over gets a unique front chin and front bumper treatment that mimics the Purosangue, along with a special rear bumper that houses four exhaust pipes. The wheels aren’t an exact copy of Ferrari’s, but they’re done in a way that will make you take a second look.
But if the similarities still aren’t enough, Aero Over also offers a badge package to confuse more people. For starters, one can get a Ferrari-style Crown badge. There are also fender badges available, but instead of a prancing horse, it’s the Crown logo on display. The wheel caps get the same treatment—finished in yellow, of course.

We doubt Ferrari’s legal department will be pleased with it, but we sure hope that Aero Over doesn’t get slapped with a cease-and-desist letter to stop making these kits. Besides, Japan is quite well known for aftermarket companies turning local models into something else.
